For the 2026 season, we have 16 teams. Each team has a dedicated coach and manager, all with current Working with Children Checks. We also provide our coaches and umpires with ongoing education. Our club is backed by a long-standing committee known for being professional, well organised and supportive.
Our Playing Teams
Net-Set-Go : Bubbles, Bluebottles, Dolphins, Mermaids and Nippers
12 year olds: Seals and Tiger-Sharks
14 year olds: Breakers, Hurricanes, Splash and Thunder
16 year olds: Cyclones, Snappers, Stingers and Storm
Seniors: Headlands
Our Under 8s are always called the Bubbles. This chant was actually created by a group of our current 14-year-olds back when they were in Under 8s themselves. We love seeing this tradition handed down to our newest players each year.

Our Committee
Our committee is led by Alex, Selina, and Jane—three local mums who are accomplished in their professional careers and passionate about netball.
Instead of fulfilling traditional roles, they run the club by working directly to their strengths. Alex is the steady hand of the group, keeping us highly organised, fair and aligned with policies. Selina is the energy of the club, known around the courts as a highly respected coach who always keeps things moving forward. She’s a “yes girl” to ideas that will benefit members. Jane rounds out the team, bringing her sharp professional savvy and practical experience as a successful businesswoman.
To compare it to netball, Alex is the defender, reading the play and keeping everything in check. Selina is the energetic midcourter, darting from committee roles to coaching and public relations. Jane is the reliable shooter, always ready to sink the shot when needed.
Together, they make sure Headlands stays organised, supportive and focused on our members.
