My Best Birthday Ever at the Ballina Netball Carnival!

My 9th birthday was extra special this year because it was also the Ballina Netball Carnival! What better way to spend my birthday than playing netball with all my netty friends!

To celebrate, we made Headland-coloured cupcakes and jelly for everyone. They looked so yummy!

My team, The Nippers, played six games against teams from Lennox, All Saints and Bangalow. We played our hearts out and had so much fun. I got to play lots of different positions, from GS all the way through to GK, which was really exciting.

I loved every single minute of it. The best part was spending my birthday with my netty friends and my Nippers teammates: Ayla, Frankie, Tahnee, Eva, Ruby, Matilda and Edie. And of course, we had our amazing Super Coach Sofia, who cheered us on all day!

I loved every moment of the carnival — running around, chasing the ball, cheering for my teammates and spending the day with my friends. By the end of the day, my feet were VERY tired, but I didn’t care because I had the best time!

It was definitely my best birthday ever! 💙💛🏐🎉
